Despite a difficult childhood, Jackie has found happiness as an artist. When her dark past catches up with her, she sets out with her art figure Jack Torera to unravel her mentally ill mother's misfortune, which inspired her art but divided her families in Switzerland and Spain. "Las Toreras" is a film about reconciliation and the courage and strength to face family taboos.
