Three players in the free market economy assume responsibility for society and future generations: They do business sustainably. The film looks at the careers of successful entrepreneurs at different stages, who operate locally, nationally and internationally and reconcile market and morality.
FAIR TRADERS explores the question of what an economic model after neoliberalism might look like and shows the attitude of three pioneers who, day in and day out, balance fair payment throughout the supply chain, organic production and the cost pressures of the free market economy. The film thus opens up a motivating possible way out of a global situation that often seems hopeless, and focuses on ethics and sustainability as factors for success.
